Snooker

                     Snooker is a Cue sport which originated in India in 19th Century.The game is played on table which is covered with a green cloured cloth and at the four corners there are four pockets.Using the Cue and 22 coloured balls players must strike the white ball to hit the remaining balls in the correct series.
                      When the player wons the more points a match is owned by the player.
                      In 1870's billiards was a popular sport played by members of the British Army stationed in India.Snooker game got recognized in 1884 when officer "Sir Neville Chamberlain" stationed in Ooty.The word Snooker was mostly used in military and the name grew up more popularly in England,stick by the formation of the Billiards Association and Control Club(BA & CC) in 1919.It is governed by "World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association"(WPBSA).
                     The World Snooker Championship has taken place since 1927.Ronnie O'Sullivan has won the most world titles since 2000.
                      At present the game was popular in China.
