Shane Robert Watson was born on 17 June 1981 is a former Australian cricketer and captain. He played as a right-handed batsman and swing bowler. Watson is the best T20 Australian cricketer  and was declared “man of the series” in the 2012 ICC World Twenty 20 for scoring a total of 249 with an average of 49.80. Watson's performance in the 2015 World Cup was remarkable. He hit two fifties, one against SriLanka and the other against Pakistan. Shane Watson struggled against incoming deliveries and was prone to LBW throughout his career.

RCB HIGHLIGHTS
Shane was an IPL institution with 2372 runs including two hundreds and 61 wickets including hat-trick in eight seasons of the IPL league. He had 14 fifties from different parts of batting order to go with two centuries and hat-trick against the sunrisers in 2014 and was the all rounder with the biggest impact on IPL
