             Pooja Hegde is an Indian Actress and Model.She works as an Actress in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi Films.She is a former beauty pageant contestant.In 2010 she participated in Miss Universe competition and crowned as the second runner-up.
             Pooja was born on 13 October 1990 at Mumbai, Maharashtra, but his family is from "Bangalore, Karnataka".Her mother tongue is "Tulu", so she speaks fluently though she brought from Mumbai and also she can speak "Hindi, Kannada, and English".
             Pooja's parents are "Manjunath Hegde and Latha Hegde".Her mother was a Network Marketing Businesswomen, pooja started helping her mother and improved her networking skills.She regularly learned to enter in the intercollegiate competition, participating in dance and fashion shows.She completed graduation in M.Com.
           

In 2012 her career as Actress started by the Tamil Film "Mugamoodi" got great success and she was nominated for the SIIMA Award for the best female debutant.
              Next, in 2014 she entered into Telugu Film industry by the film "Oka Laila Kosam" and Nominated for Film Fare Award for Best Actress and SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut-ant in Telugu.In the same year, she came with one more movie "Mukunda" and the movie reached to audience heart.
                In 2016 she entered into Bollywood with the movie "Mohenjo Daro" and won "Lux Rose Golden Award 2016 for The Best Debut-ant of the Year".
                Her upcoming movie project in 2017 is "Duvvada Jagannadham" in Telugu with the co-star "Stylish Star Allu Arjun" under the direction "Harish Shanker" and Producer "Dil Raju" under the banner "Sri Venkateswara Creations".The music director is "Rockstar DeviSriPrasad".The releasing date of the movie is 19th May 2017.
