Ice Hockey

              Ice Hockey contact team sport played on Ice,commonly played in a rink.The two team players play in by Skating shoes to there legs and uses Stick to hit the rubber puck into their opposite's net to score points.The players in each team are six among them one player is goaltender other five players are who skate up and down in the ice trying to puck and score a goal against the opposite team.
             Ice Hockey game sport is most popular in North America and Northern and Eastern Europe.Ice Hockey is officially National Winter Sport in Canada.In North America,the National Hockey League(NHL) is the highest level for Men's Hockey.The Kontinental Hockey League(KHL) is highest league in Russia and most are from Eastern Europe.The International ICe Hockey Federation(IIHF)is the formal governing body of the international ice hockey.
             The IIHF manages the international tournaments and maintains the IIHF World Ranking.Worldwide there are ice hockey federations in 74 countries.
​              The Ice Hockey game was developed in Canada.The first indoor hockey game was played on 3rd March 1875.The "Professional Ice Hockey was originated around 1990's.The Ice Hockey was for the first time played in Olympic in "Olympic Games of 1920".
              In international compititions the national six teams "Canada,Czech Republic,Finland,Russia,Sweden and United States were awarded 69 medals all time in Men's Champitition at Olympics and only six medals were not awarded among those six countries.
              In  annual Ice Hockey World Championship, among 201 medals 177 medals were owned to six nations.Teams outside the "Big Six"have won the five medals in either the Canadian National team or United States National team.
