Vitamin D Food Sources
Vitamin D  is a fat-soluble vitamin that is made when the skin is exposed to the sunlight. Only a few foods are rich in vitamin D including Milk products.
It helps the body to absorb the Calcium from food and support the maintenance of healthy bones. It also aids muscle health, cell growth and a significant role in the immune system.
Vitamin D Deficiencies:
When a person does not consume enough amount of Vitamin D.
Most of the people with this deficiency may have no signs or never experience any symptoms for many years.

Symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency:
  •  Leaving at latitude. 
  • Being indoors too much.
  • Living in a highly polluted area.
  • Using a large quantity of sunscreen.
  • Being overweight.

 1. Eating food which is rich in vitamin D and spending at least 15 to 20 minutes each day in natural satellite are the best strategies for preventing vitamin D deficiency.
2. Maintain a healthy body weight.
3. Monitoring and treating medical conditions.
4. Use Vitamin D supplements.
5. Consult a doctor if you find any changes in your health.
Home Remedies for Vitamin D deficiency​:
 Three methods can be practiced for increasing vitamin D levels:
1. Take a vitamin D supplement.
2. Eat foods rich in vitamin D like milk, beef liver, egg yolks, fish liver oil,         many bowls of cereal, cheese, fatty fishes, etc.
 3. Increase exposure to natural sunlight.
