Heart Attack Prevention and its measures
Heart Attack is blockage of any of the arteries of the heart results in a heart attack.
Cardiac Arrest: Cardiac arrest is a sudden loss of heart function that is due to the disturbances occurs in the rhythm of the heart. Cardiac arrest is distinct from the heart attack.  A heart attack can lead to cardiac arrest.
Symptoms of a heart attack:
  • Fullness and seeing the pain the chest portion.
  • High blood pressure and uncomfortable breathing.
  • Pain spreads beyond the chest to the shoulder, back, jaws, teeth or one of both the arms.
  • The patient starts sweating.
  • Nausea tic feeling.
  •  Dizziness and patient even faint.
How to prevent a heart attack?
  • Blood pressure must also be healthy. Usually, high blood pressure leads to heart attack.
  • Take a healthy diet
  • No consumption of alcohol.
  • No smoking.
  • Maintain a healthy weight of your body.
  • Regular exercise.
What first aid should be given for heart attack patients?
  • If any person gets a heart attack first make the person sit down and take rest and try to keep the patient calm.
  • call 911 immediately
  • chew and swallow aspirin and take Nitro glycerin
  •  Begin CPR (chest compressions through artificial ventilation) if the patient is unconscious.
  • Give artificial respiration to the patient.
  • Rush to the nearest hospital.
Regular Diet for heart patients:
  • ​ Intake of food low in saturated fat, trans fat and sodium.
  • Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
  • Fish at least twice a week.
  • Whole grains rich in fibers.
  • Nuts, legumes and seeds and try eating meals without meat.
  • Select lower fat dairy and poultry products.
