Curling

                       Curling is a sport,here in this game the players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards the target area where the area is split into four concentric circles.It is related to bowls,boules and shuffleboard.Curling game had two teams each team with four players.Granite stone  with heavy weight,is used in the game the player has to move the stone on the ice Curling sheet towards the target were there is a circular target at the end of the area.The game normally consists of eight to tend rounds.The main aim of the game is to score more pionts to win hightest score.
                      Curling was invented in Medieval Scotland,with the first written reference to a contest using stones on ice coming from the records of Paisley Abbey,Renfrewshire,in Feb 1541.The first curling name was seen in 1620 in Perth,Scotland.Today the game was mostly famous in Canada,have been taken there by Scottish emigrants.The first Curling club was established in 1830 at United States and the game was introduced to Switzerland and Sweden before the end of 19th century.At present the game is played all over Europe and also spread to Brazil,Japan,Australia,New Zealand,China and Korea.
                      Curling was the first sport that were popular with Women and Girls.
                      Curling has been official sport in Winter Olympic Game since 1998 Winter Olympic.Curling is a Men and Womens tournment game.A mixed double Olympic event was considered but rejected for the 2010 winter Olympic Game but presently add in the upcoming 2018 Olympic Games event.
