Christopher Henry “Chris Gayle” is an  international cricketer for the West Indies. His 'devil may care' style of play has come under harsh criticism on several occasions but with his unparalleled histrionics, Chris Gayle has every time proved his critics wrong, and has been the batsman West Indies gamble on for those rollicking starts, at least in the shorter formats of the game. He is one of the hardest hitters of the cricket ball in the modern game, Gayle is known to put opposition bowlers under pressure with his no-holds-barred style of batting. He topped the run charts in 2011, sixes list, hitting almost more than the next three guys in the list put together, became the first man to hit two tons in one editions of IPL and hit a third one in 2012. The first man to hit over 700 runs in an edition of IPL .

He is not just a T20 operator, but also was man who hit  the first  international ton in T 20, in the first match of ICC world Twenty 20.
