California Department of Motor Vehicles

             The California Department of Motor Vehicles(DMV) is the state agency,which is to register motor vehicles and boats and aslo to issue driver's licenses ,which is established in U.S state of California.The DVM is also the part of "California State Transportation Agency".The DVM works with "Superior Court of California" to punctually record judgement  against driver's licenses and subsequently suspends or revokes licenses when a driver accumulates too many judgements.The DVM also issues "Identification Cards to the people who are ineligible for or do not wish to have a drivers license.
          The headquartes is at "Sacramento" in California.In 1901 the california state started the Legislature authorized california cities and countries to issue licence for bicycles and automobiles.
         On December 13th,1913 they announced a statement that Licenses for the drivers of motor vehicles are must thatis it is mandatory rule in California to be.The first DVM was established by the Vehicle Act of 1915,but was diminished to the Division of Motor Vehicles within the Department of Finance in 1921.Under the Vehicle Act of 1923,the Division was authorized to appointinspectors and traffic officers to prosecute the Act,these staff were later spun off in 1947 into the Department of California Highway Patrol.In 1936 they started collecting fee of license for Vehicle over all state wide.
            In january 1991 the California DMV has introduced the nation's first modern "Credit Card Style" driver's licenses.
