              Archery is a sport.The word archery is came from Latin arcus.In olden days archery is used for hunting and  battle.In present now a days archery is bacame a sport and recreational activity.A person who praticipates in archery as "Archer" or a "Bowman".The person who are expert in archery are called"Toxophilite".
             Bow and arrows has been present in Egyptain culture since"Predynastic" origins.
             Archery was mostly developed in Asia.The Sanskrit term for archery,danurvedha came to refer to martial arts in general.In east asia,Goguryeo,one of the three kingdoms of korea was well known for skilled archers.
