        Anupam Kher is an Indian film actor who has appeared in more than 400 films.He was born on 7th March 1955, Shimla in a Kashmiri Pandit family.His height was 1.75 M.His father was a clerk.He completed education from D.A.V.School in Shimla.He got married an Actress"Kiran Kher" in 1985.He had a stepson, who is acting"Sikandar Kher".
        During starting days as an Actor, he struggled a lot, sometimes he slept on railway station at Mumbai.He is a graduate and former chairperson of the National school of drama.Some of his roles were performed at Himachal Pradesh University.
        His career was started in 1982 with Aagman movie next in 1984 with Saaransh movie thus his journey of the actor in Bollywood industry has started.He hosted television shows also.
        

​For his acting, received many awards like Eight Filmfare Awards for Best Actor as well as Best Comedian from 1984 to 1995.In 2004 he received "Padma Shri" by Government of India and in 2016 he received "Padma Bhushan" by Government of India.
       In 1989 he received "National Film Award" as Special Jury Award for the movie Daddy.In 2005 received one more "National Film Awards" as Special Jury Award" for the movie Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara.And he received many more awards for his acting career for his success.
