Alpine Skiing is also called as Downhill Skiing.This is a game sport sliding down snow covered hills on skis fixed hill bindings.It is characterised by the requirements for mechanical assistance getting to top of the hill,since the equipment does not allow efficient walking or hiking,unlike cross country skis which use free hill binding.
            Alpine Skiing was practiced at "Ski resorts" and provides services like ski lifts,artificial snow making,grooming,first aid and restaurant.

             It came to known in 1994 that more than 55million people throught the world very busy with the Alpine Skiing game.Nearly 30 million people from Europe and 15 million people in US and 14 million in Japan.Reportedly in 1996 came to known that 4,500 ski areas,operating 26,000 ski lifts and enjoying skier visit.Region for downhills skiing was Europe followed by Japan and US.
